Capital Raising
We are unique in our consultative approach. Rather than focusing on the transaction itself (the hit-and-run approach), we cover the entire spectrum in the funding process and investor selection from business planning to exit. If and when appropriate, Portent will take a share in your company, and will remain involved after the transaction as business advisor and shareholder.
Portent will assist in sourcing capital (equity and debt) from a wide range of providers, including venture capital and private equity firms, family offices, hedge funds, general funds and high net worth individuals.
For venture and development capital transactions, we seek to raise a minimum of £250,000 of equity capital. For private equity transactions, such as MBOs, MBIs and LBOs, we seek to raise a minimum of £10 million of debt and equity capital.
Corporate Transactions
Portent offers a focused and dedicated Merger & Acquisition execution service, operating especially in its areas of sector expertise: technology, digital media, internet based services, mobile solutions and telecommunications.
